Google's new Digital Safety resources for Educators and Learners

At this day of age, there is a great demand to educate our learners with ways that can safeguard them online. Google, being the world's primary search engine, took an initiative to provide resources that will teach digital safety to both educators and learners.

For learners

Learn Digital Safety the fun way by entering the world of Interland that has 4 islands which will expose learners with different tips on being safe online.
The first island is the Kind Kingdom where learners are expected to be a positive influencer, bully blocker and a righteous reporter.

The user is the blue player. Take a role of someone who collects "love" and giving it to others that are alone or bullied. There are tools to fight bullies, too!
Winning this island gives a summary of what a learner should do...to spread positivity, to block mean-spirited or inappropriate behaviors and to speak up against bullying.

The second island is the Reality River that teaches learners to be a Phisher Dismisser, Scam Slammer and a Truth Sleuth.
To win this island, you have to answer 10 questions that when answered correctly will add bridge blocks up to the other end of the river.
At the end, the goals of this island is to help students understand phishing and how to report it, spot the signs of a potential scam and know how to tell the difference between what's real and what's false.
The third island is the Mindful Mountain where students are expected to be Savvy Sharer and Patient Poster.
The goal of the game is to direct a beam of light to its intended recipient by shooting it from the right position. There are mirrors that can confuse you and redirect the light to other unintended recipients.

The goals of this island is to make students thoughtfully consider what you share and with whom as well as pause and keep extra sensitive information to yourself.
The last island is the Tower of Treasure, (which is the most challenging btw), which prepare students to be Captain Clever, Data Defender and Password Wizard
The rule of the game is collect blocks of characters to make a strong password to safeguard the tower.

Once a password is created, it the door will be closed and hackers will be denied.

A very timely activity, the goals of the game is to craft a password you'll remember, to make your password at least 8 characters long and to create an awesome password with a mix of letters, numbers and symbols.

Once you accomplish the four islands, you'll see your score and will be able to explore your learning...

...and claim your certificate of awesomeness.
